Chapter Eight
âWhat is this?â Grace asked.
âGet changed into the swimsuit.â
She looked at the bathing suit that wasnât a one-piece at all. âThis is a bikini.â
Caleb stood in the pool. She didnât even know if he wore a pair of swimming trunks. âIt still needs you to get changed into it.â
âI donât need to get changed into it.â
âGrace, I donât like the idea of you being frightened about anything. Iâm willing to teach you how to swim.â
âI donât need to learn how to swim,â she said. However, his naked body was far more tempting than the water.
âYouâre being stubborn.â
âDonât you have a lot more important things to do? Like, I donât know, dominating the world?â
âMy empire is so well-trained it can take on the world without my presence.â
âI bet.â
âCome on, Grace. Your parents never taught you, but one day, James is going to want to swim. Are you going to let him go without?â
It was on the tip of her tongue to tell him she wouldnât be with him for a long term, but that was the last thing she wanted to bring up.
Caleb didnât come to her bed at night. He gave her space, but her needs, they werenât fading. She wanted him, and last night, she realized what game he intended to play with her. Sex wasnât going to be used against her, but he intended to make her see her own needs and desires for what they were. It was sweet, but it also made her have to own up to what she wanted.
This sucked.
Big time.
Sheâd never asked for anything in her life. The first and only orgasm a man had given her, it had given her a taste, and now all she wanted was to learn more.
âFine,â she said.
âYou donât have to leave,â he said as she turned her back. âWeâre both adults. Iâve seen you naked before and we both know I like what I see very much.â
Her cheeks were on fire, but rather than leave the room, she wriggled out of her clothes. His groan had her freezing for a second before pulling her bikini bottoms up.
âIâve never worn a bikini,â she said, quickly securing the top in place.
After stepping toward the water, she sat on the edge, wrapping her arms around her waist. She felt exposed. Heâd seen her naked, but that didnât take away her nerves. Heâd probably seen hundreds of women, thousands. They threw themselves at him.
Caleb glided through the water, going to her. His hands went to her ass. She let out a squeal as he moved her into the pool. As she wrapped her arms around his neck, he chuckled.
âYou donât have to be afraid,â he said.
âIâm not.â
She circled his waist with her legs.
âNow this has possibilities.â He moved her down and she became aware of his hardness pressing against her core.
While she stared up into his eyes, it was on the tip of her tongue to beg him, but he moved her away.
âThere will be time for that soon,â he said.
